Every business whether large or small should have a website to promote their products or services. It is the single most important tool in the marketing toolbox for providing information to current and potential customers. A common goal for many companies is to increase the amount of traffic that their website generates since the number of visitors can equate to potential new customers. For many smaller businesses website traffic is the life blood that pumps in leads that hopefully will convert to an opportunity and then a sale. There are many ways to increase website traffic but which ones create the most impact for a business? Here are five common practices to legitimately increase traffic.

Believing in yourself over unknown deities.

​Human beings are an extraordinary species. We have the ability to think, feel, and communicate in very complex ways. We’ve developed languages, agriculture, medicines, technology, and most importantly we created Game of Thrones. However, with our high level of knowledge and intelligence we still are unable to fully understand the universe. We’ve come a long way but we still don’t have any physical proof of the existence of a divine being that majority of human beings strongly believe in. However, it does not mean that a deity or divine being does not exist. Unlike atheistic which deny any existence of a deity or divine being, someone like myself who is agnostic simply believes that there must be something out there that started it all. However, we simply do not have the capacity to fully understand what it is. We think we know, but we don’t. That makes a lot of people uncomfortable, which is why I don’t often let on that I’m agnostic.

Whether you’re an individual or a business you need to have a good website. A website is the single most important marketing tool in your toolbox and everything else should revolve around that website. Majority of medium to large businesses are aware of this but it amazes me how many individuals and small businesses still refuse to have a website. A way to think positive and boost confidence  

​The Karma Coin game is something I’ve been playing on my own for as long as I can remember. As you know, coins that you find on the ground (any money really) is yours for the taken just as long as no one is around to claim it. There is a saying that I used to hear which stated, “see a penny, pick it up, and all day long, you’ll have good luck.” I decided to make a game of it and take it to the next level. If a penny would give you good luck then what would a nickel, dime, or even a quarter bring you. Each coin gets a value equal to its monetary value but as a karma point. A penny would be one karma point, a nickel would equal five karma points, a dime would be ten karma points and so on. I’ve never found a silver dollar but boy would that be something.
